This popular & comprehensive 2-hour course is offered to small groups of new or expectant parents to help prepare them to respond to emergency situations in the early stages of parenting a child. Also suitable for grandparents and carers. This course will help you feel calm & prepared in the unfortunate event of a first aid situation.

About Jade: Jade is an AHPRA Registered Nurse and Midwife with over 25 years experience. Based in rural Victoria, Jade has a passion for sharing her knowledge and experience with others and equipping them for emergency situations. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Nursing, Postgraduate Diploma of Midwifery, Masters of Midwifery Studies and Cert IV Training and Assessment. Jade has worked mostly in rural areas and has a comprehensive understanding of emergency situations that may arise when help is not close at hand. Her passion lies in education, specifically educating new and expecting parents and preparing them for medical challenges that may arise in parenthood.

Certification: Infant First Aid is a carefully curated class covering many infant and child-specific first aid situations which may not be covered by more general first aid courses. As such, it is not a nationally-accredited course and will not result in a certificate for workplace use.
